Blob

Blob turns a water droplet into the centre of a lively action game. On the 25 x 25 cm playing field, the droplet glides over a hydrophobic surface and responds directly to each movement of the board. The effect is immediate and visual, as the small drop travels through the course while players try to keep it on track and away from the sponges. The route changes with different sponge parcours, so the board can be set up in new ways from round to round. Along the way, the droplet collects smaller drops and grows into a larger BLOB, which changes the handling and makes precise control more demanding. This shift in movement creates a clear physical challenge: a larger drop reacts differently and needs a steadier hand to guide it cleanly through bends and narrow passages. For 1-2 players, the game combines simple preparation with a mechanic that is easy to understand and satisfying to master. Blob suits quick solo rounds as well as shared play at the table, where each move can be watched closely and compared. Players aged 5+ can guide the droplet through the course, test new layouts and try to reach the finish with the BLOB intact.
