What belongs together

Was gehört zusammen? brings matching, memory and early association into a simple tabletop game with 24 puzzle pieces and 12 picture pairs. The educational format invites 1-4 players aged 3+ to turn over 2 face-down pieces at a time, looking for images that belong together and building a clear sense of everyday connections around the table. The game uses familiar motifs to make each link easy to grasp: boots meet an umbrella, a tree meets an apple, and a gift meets a birthday cake. Because each pair is shown as interlocking puzzle pieces, the visual relationship and the physical fit work together in every round. The rules stay focused and easy to follow: the pieces are mixed, spread out face down, turned over in turns, and kept when they match. When all 24 pieces have been taken, the round ends and the player with the most pieces wins. A game lasts around 20 minutes. This setup suits quiet solo play as well as small group rounds at the table. Repeated games encourage children to notice new links, remember picture positions and talk about the objects shown while the pair-based format keeps each session structured and easy to start again.
