15 Rubber Twist Games

Rubber Twist returns as a lively movement game built around a 380 cm elastic band, 15 jumping variations and simple rhymes that guide the action. In each round, 2 players stand opposite each other and stretch the band while a 3rd player works through the set jump combinations, creating a clear rhythm of call, movement and response in the garden, on the playground or in the schoolyard. The set uses a straightforward height system that changes the challenge from round to round. The band starts at ankle level and then moves upward toward the hips, so the same jumping patterns demand more control, balance and precision as play continues. A booklet explains the variations step by step, including classic Zig-zag jumps and newer combinations, making it easy to switch between familiar sequences and fresh patterns. The travel size tin box keeps the band and booklet together between rounds and fits easily into a bag for play away from home. Rubber Twist suits short active breaks as well as longer group sessions where players take turns holding the band, calling the rhyme and attempting the next sequence. Age 5+ is stated for the game, and the simple setup makes it easy to bring into outdoor play whenever a flat stretch of ground is available.
