Mouse Trap

FANG DIE MAUS turns a simple table setup into a lively reaction game where 3-6 players watch the dice, grip the pull strings and try to save their wooden mice before the cup lands. With a recommended age of 4+, the rules stay easy to follow while every round still depends on timing, attention and quick hands. The set contains 6 wooden mice with string, 1 cup, 2 dice, 40 chips and 1 board. Play starts with the board in the middle of the table and 6 chips in front of each player. One player rolls with the cup, and when the number die shows 1 or 6, everyone holding a mouse must pull it away at once while the active player tries to catch as many mice as possible on the board surface. Chips leave the game when a mouse is caught, when a player pulls at the wrong moment, or when the cup touches the board by mistake, so the action stays tense even between successful catches. For players who are not yet familiar with dice numbers, the color die can replace the number trigger by assigning 2 colors to the same role. A full game lasts about 20 minutes, making it easy to bring to the table for an afternoon round, a birthday group or a quick family game before dinner.
