Kleine Fische

Kleine Fische is a fast-moving card game built around one central decision: keep fishing for a bigger catch or secure the cards already won before the line is cut. With 60 fish cards, 6 octopus cards and 1 octopus die, each round creates a playful underwater chase in which timing matters as much as luck. The mechanism is easy to grasp from the first round. Players try to collect as many fish as possible, but waiting too long can cost the whole catch when the avenger of the caught fish appears and bites through the line. That push between pressing on and banking points gives the game its pace. The octopus die adds another concrete action to the turn flow, while the illustrated fish, hook and sea-creature motifs keep the fishing theme present on the table. A typical session lasts 20 minutes, which suits a quick game night opener or a short round between longer activities. With 2-4 players and an age recommendation of 7+, Kleine Fische fits family tables as well as rounds with friends. The compact card-and-die setup keeps the play area manageable, and the short duration makes repeat rounds easy when the table wants another attempt at landing the biggest haul. Made in Germany
